HARD BANKINGS ANCESTRY Hard Banking, William Almy, Jr.s hunter that Avas Avinner of the Between the Flags Steeplechase at Belmont Park Tuesday, is a son of English Lad and Mamie Algol. English Lad is a son of English Lady, a mare that Avas raced under tlie silks of the late E. A. Buck. English Lad is also the sire of Joseph W. Burdens Lindly that finished third in the mile and a quarter of the Turf and Field Plate the same afternoon.
