SETTING SUN began slowly, but saved much ground by racing close to the inner rail and held on gamely in the final drive. BETTER TLMES dropped bad: after going three-eighths. SIMPLICITY showed the most speed and disposed of GREEN GOLD in the first three-eighths, hut tired near the end. MOCK ORANGE, saving much ground on the turns, came with a rush right at the end. SERVICE STAR showed the most speed, but began tiring after going a mile and had to be ridden hard to outstay SAGAMOOK. The latter raced forwardly for the entire way.
