WINNIPEG, close up from the start, raced into the lead after rounding the far turn and was trader restraint at the end. ROCKABYE began slowly, but closed a gap and finished fast. MISS MAZIE also closed a big gap. G0NW1TIIIM ran fairly well. VALMOND showed much speed to the head ef the homestretch. JENNIE C. quit after setting a fast early pace. DISCUSSION finished gamely and was weaxiag the winner down at the end. SUPERIOR ran a good race and finished fast. RUN NAN made up groaad. WINDS OF CHANCE set a fast early pace and quit. FOUL WEATHER showed SUPERIOR speed for a half mile, but tired badly in the last quarter. MAD NELL raced forwardly and gamely throughout. ORRIS showed speed.
