GENERAL ALLEN HUNT RIDER Return of Commander of Army of Occupation May Mean Amateur Racing Revival Major General Henry T Allen command ¬ ing the American army of occupation in Germany will be back in this country within thirty days and his return means that ama ¬ I teur racing and the hunt meetings will have its sturdiest champpion on hand General Allen has ever been active in these meetings and an accomplished rider himself has taken part in many of the races He is a member of the Piping Rock Racing Association and his return might mean the awakening of an interest that would result in a race meeting over that delightfully picturesque course during the year yearDuring During his stay in Coblenz General Allen always kept in touch with the amateur and hunt racing in this country and he had programs mailed him of each meeting While there he also conducted successful race meet Ings and at one of them another American K Rockwell officiated as starter
