S D RIDDLE VISITOR VISITORIN IN KENTUCK LEXINGTON Ky January 19 Mr and Mrs Samuel D Riddle arrived here shortly before noon today and went immediately out to Faraway Farm to see Man o War and Golden Broom and the yearlings at that establishment This is their first visit since last February Mr Riddle stated that their horses are wintering well under the manage ¬ ment of Gwyn Thompkins at the Maryland farm Oceanic he said will be the stables ace during the coming racing season seasonJames James P Ross assistant to manager Ed ¬ ward Burke of the Havre de Grace track was another arrival from Maryland He is here to spend a month or so There are no horses at Havre de Grace now nowJohn John Lowe in the course of a letter re ¬ ceived today by Edward Cebrian states that his horses which had been sick at Havana now are over their coughing and all are gal ¬ loping again Mr Cebrian today said that he has decided to sell his horses in training when and as they show their value and to devote more of his attention to breeding He has the stallions Troutbeck and Von Tromp and forty mares and fifteen yearlings at Keenland Farm There are nine by Troutbeck five by Von Tromp and one by Peter Quince He has eleven horses in train ¬ ing
