FINE DAY AT LEXINGTON Many Horses Out for Exercise Property Formally Transferred Transferredto to Kentucky Association LEXINGTON Ky March 9 This was a fine day and many horses were at exercise on the sand track at the Kentucky Associ ¬ ation grounds Superintendent Kegan is getting the main course ready for use shortly if the weather continues good Messrs Ham ¬ ilton Applegatc treasurer and Roger Sulli ¬ van auditor of the Kentucky Jockey Club came today to check up the local office and take possession of the books belonging to that organization The track property has for ¬ mally been transferred to the Kentucky As ¬ sociation a deed having been filed yesterday in the office of the county clerk clerkHolding Holding that James Brooks former exer ¬ cise boy suing by his next friend John Ellis for 25000 has no cause of action against John E Madden a jury in the Fay ette County court some time ago found for the master of Hamburg Place An appeal was taken and at Frankfort today the judg ¬ ment of the local court was affirmed by the Court of Appeals Brooks worked for Mad ¬ den under a contract from 1915 to 1919 and then brought suit on the ground that he had been deprived of his liberty libertyRuth Ruth L dam of High Private the prop ¬ erty of Fred A Forsythe has a chestnut colt by Flittergold The yearling brother to Uiis foal has been named Talequa TalequaJohn John H Rosseters Dreaming has a bay colt by Friar Rock The latest foals at Short Grass Stud are a brown filly by Short Grass Misty Queen and chestnut colt by Wildair Virginia L This latter mare is the property of J Edwin Griffith Griffwood Farm Baltimore and goes to Troutbecks court Marie Hyde has a bay colt by Mana ¬ ger Waite at Clyde Van Dusens Few Acres Farm and goes to Torchbearer this season
