CHANGE MAISONNEUVE DATE MONTREAL. Ou -.. April 2::.— At a meeting of the London Jockey Club, held this morning, it was decided to open the local racing season at Maisonneuve track on Saturday, May T». This change is due to the sudden warm weather, which has dried out tin; track and made it possible to start earlier than anticipated. Sheridan Ciark. who will be racing secretary for the tracks under the jurisdiction of the Quebec Breeders and Facing Association, will be here tomorrow to start drafting the book or the Maisonneuve meeting.
