He brought to the Downs eight head from Maryland and these racers have been left in charge of George Strate, formerly connected -with J. H. Rosseter. Mr. Smith says that the western division of the Kilmer stable will be joined later by Kxterminator and Sallys Alley, which will be shipped here at the conclusion of the 1imlico meeting to fill their stake engagements. Sallys Alley, he says, is sure to start in the Derby, regardless of how she finishes in the Preakness. He says the lilly was never better than she is at present.
