v ■ MARE TOKALON IS DEAD LEXINGTON. Ky.. April 28.— Tokalon. at the age of 22. is dead at Clyde Van Dusens Few Acres farm near this city, but her bay colt by Tchad was saved and is being nourished from a bottle. Tokalon. by Tammany from Enid, by Sir Modred. was bred by the late Milton Young and was raced by J. W. Fuller, the Texas turfman, under whose colors she was triumphant in many races. Van Dusen brought her up from Texas along with several other mares he purchased from Mr. Fuller. Among them was her daughter, Dulce Tokalon, from which there came a couple of days ago a bay filly foal by The Manager. Ask Her has a brown colt by Manager Watte and Beautiful Girl a chestnut tilly by Tchad. This completes the foaling for the year at Few Acres, there being three colts and two fillies at the home of Torch bearer, which now is the property of Van Dusen.
