HORSE SALE AT PIMLICO BALTIMORE, Md., May 11— A sale was held in the paddock previous to the running of the first race to close the estate of G. W. J. Bissell. Twelve horses and a couple of ponies were placed under the hammer and spirited bidding was realized. The start of the sale was the two-year-old , I. Tropical Water, which fell to Mr. Sage on his bid of ,000. The sale was held under the auspices of the Thoroughbred Sales Company J and George Bain officiated as auctioneer.
