OBTAIN LAST OF JUMPERS Committee Notified that Final Purchases Abroad Are Made. French Consignment for Subscription Is Quartered at Belmont Park The Horses to Be Distributed. NEW YORK, N. T., Oct 29. The committee in charge of the International Steeplechase subscription, which was arranged last summer with the purpose of increasing national interest in this class of sport, has been notified by E. J. Tranter, who arranged for the purchase of the jumpers through his representatives in England and France, that the required number of horses have been obtained and that the quality of those purchased is excellent in his opinion? The French consignment has arrived and is now quartered at Belmont Park. They completed the trip without mishaps. The English and Irish horses are scheduled to sail within a few days.
