FLECHOIS, A GRAND STAYER SPECIAL CABLE. PARIS, France, Oct 29. H. Counts Fle-chois, five-year-old son of Negofol and Saint Cyrene, scored an important victory in the Prix Gladiateur, at about three miles and seven furlongs, which featured the closing day at Longchamps Sunday. At the end of two miles and a half Flechois bolted and lost a great amount of ground, but took up the chase again and caught the others near the finish, to win by a length. The sky was overcast through the afternoon, but a big crowd turned out for the final day of racing.
