I BEAUTIFUL AND COMMODIOUS TANFORAN PARK Here is the scene of Californias racing revival, beautiful Tanforan Park. This picture was taken from the club house veranda and shows the magnificent grandstand, of all steel and concrete construction, and a good view of the long stretch from the last turn to the judges stand, 1,140 feet, the width of the track for that distance being 85 feet. A training track separates the main course from the infield. Large eucalyptus trees close to 100 feet high practically surround Tanforan Park and one of Californias famous automobile highways leads right to the gates of this wonderful monument to the thoroughbred and the sport of racing.
