Won driving; second and third the same. CHARLES HENRY, racing in much improved form, closed a big gap and, coming with a rush through the stretch, got up to win in the last few strides. GIUSEPPE, under restraint for the first quarter, saved much ground when coming into the stretch and, taking the lead, was winning when his rider became careless. SUNBURST II. came from far back and was racing gamely at the end. KINGSCLERE raced into the lead, but tired. CARNARVON lest ground by racing wide. LEONTES and CASH closed big gaps. Won driving; second and third the same. THYLLIS LOUISR moved up steadily after reaching the stretch and under hard riding outstayed WILMER THE WIZARD. The latter raced forwardly from the start and took the lead in the stretch, but was tiring at the end. LEXINGTON MAID was ridden wide on the last turn and lost much ground, but finished gamely. FILIBUSTER ran well, but tired after taking the lead. LIBYAN QUEEN raced well. FIRETOMA closed a gap. XENORA quit badly after setting the pace to the far turn. HYSTERIA raced into second place, but began tiring in the last eighth. LOCUST LEAVES was always outrun. ATTORNEY closed a big gap. The latter ran a good race and outgamed TULALIP for secend place. TULALIP raced forwardly from the start, but began tiring near the end. REP tired after racing into the lead in the stretch. TEN SIXTY raced RUNQUOI into defeat, but- tired in the last eighth. RUNQUOI set a good pace, but was done after going three-quarters and can do much better.
