WHITES PLANS FOR WINTER Takes Over Part of Ross Farm in Maryland and Will Quarter Horses There. Major F. W. White has taken over a part of the J. K. L. Ross farm In Maryland, where he will winter the jumpers he has been campaigning in partnership with W. A. Read. These imported steeplechasers have done exceedingly well and Faskadale, which was sold to J. S. Cosden, has proven himself one of the best of the year. There will be some other jumpers brought over by Major White during the winter and he will endeavor to repeat his feat of 1923 when he won his first start in this country with Faskadale at the United Hunts meeting at Belmont Park and then took the last steeplechase of the year at Pimlico with Huonora.
