PRINT STARTING RULE NEW ORLEANS,, La., Jan. 11. For the information of the public, he stewards have instructed racing secretary Joseph McLennan to print daily on the program Rule 235, which reads as follows: "The horses shall be started by a machine, or flag, or both, and there shall be no start until, and no recall after, the starter has dropped the flag, and if no flag is used, there shall be no start until, and no recall after, the starter has raised the barrier."
