GERMANS ABE LARGE BUYERS I gave an indication last week-end that foreign buyers were still actively engaged in Ireland says "Blackthorn", and I am now able to say that an extensive commission for the purchase of brood mares, yearlings and foals has been entrusted by the Germans to the Irish Bloodstock Agency, which, as a first shipment, has sent to Germany seven lots, namely, the brood mares Symingtons Pride, Graphitic and Moorish Maid, the foal by Captivation out of Symingtons Pride and the yearling fillies by Cylden out of Lady Desmond, by Happy Warrior out of Grays-town Lass and by Lord Archer out of Fusing Lama. London Sportsman, Dec. 22.
