FARNELL, away fast, opened up a safe lead entering tbe stretch and won with ease. LAHONTON. close up from the start, made a game finish. MY DESTINY ran out turning for home and carried HERDSMAN and SEQUAN with her. HERDSMAN bore over and sharply shut SEQUAN off when an eighth out, which threw her out of contention. Won easily; second and third driving. DOLPH, racing forwardly from the start, caught PLUNGER tiring after entering the stretch and won going away. PLUNGER set the pace after JOLLY SAILOR retired and made a game finish, after being passed by the winner. THERESA ran well and easily outstayed SAMPLE. SCOTTISH LAD, close up all the way, finished gamely though tiring and outlasted CAVALCADOUR II. for second place. The latter closed a big gap and just failed to land in second place.
