SETHS A LI III made a fast finish and was wearing the winner down. PROGRAM ran well and showed improvement. MALVERN made up ground through the final quarter. The latter, away slowly, closed a big gap in a fast finish, but pulled up lame from a spread foot. POLLY WALE tired after racing in closest pursuit of the winner to the last sixteenth. CAVEAT EMPTOR finished with a rush, but was in trouble a few strides from the end, which probably cost him the race. DOCTOR CORBETT was forced to race wide and ran a smashing race under his weight. HELEN COOK tired after racing into the lead. BROWN BELLI? finished gamely. ARCTIC KING made up ground.
