FIRST FOAL BY MORVICH B. Blocks Kentucky Winner Now Daddy of Fine-Looking Colt. Xumbcr of Stallions Transferred to New Homes Foals Arrive at A. B. Hancocks Claiborne St ad. LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 3. The first of the progeny of Benjamin Blocks Kentucky Derby winner Morvich is here. It is a bay or brown colt from Temptation, by Sweep, dam Runaway Girl, by Domino, and is a day old. He is at Miss Elizabeth Daingerfields Haylands Stud and she says he is an extraordinary foal. Temptation will be mated this season with Stefan the Great. The stallion Pataud has been transferred from Hinata Farm to Ernest L. Fcather-stons farm on the Georgetown Pike, he having taken the horse over from Senator Joseph W. Bailey. High Time, owned in partnership by Admiral Cary T. Grayson, Senator Bailey and Phil T. Chinn, has been transferred from Hinata Farm to Senator Baileys Donegal Farm, which is on the Iron Works Pike a short way from Hinata. The stallions The Finn, Polymelian and Sweep On, all the property of W. R. Coe, have been transferred from Himyar Stud to Hinata Farm. Both of these farms are under lease to Phil T. Chinn, who is looking after the Coe thoroughbreds in Kentucky. The stallion High Cloud, three parts brother to High Time, the property of B. B. and Montfort Jones, is coming to Kentucky from Virginia February 15 to stand at Miss Elizabeth Daingerfields Haylands Stud. Foals began arriving at A. B. Hancocks Claiborne Stud this week, there being three fillies, one by War Cloud Lady Hempstead, one by Star Hawk Medora II. dam of Little Chief and the other by War Cloud Merry Marian, a grand-daughter of Marian Hood. Reine des Peches three parts sister to Stefan the Great, by Roi Herode Perfect Peach, has a black filly by Hourless at Joseph E. Wideners Elmendorf Farm. She goes to The Finn. Three filly foals came this week at John S. Barbees Glen Helen Stud. Winnie ODays daughter is by Escoba, Jacquittas is by Upset and Rosslares is. by Belloc.
