CASSIE ANN began fast and, saving ground all the way, drew away into a commanding lead when entering the stretch, but was tiring near the end and had to be hard ridden to outlast ROSITA. The latter was carried wide by PARMACHENEE BELLE when entering the stretch, but finished fast when straightened out and was going faster than the winner. HUEN was under restraint and rated in behind the leaders to the stretch turn, where he moved up stoutly on the outside, but tired when the final test came. JACK FROST showd a good performance.
