GOLD BRYAN met with interference at the start, then made up ground steadily and, after racing into the lead midway cf the stretch, tired and gave way to the winner right at the end. TWELVE 1SKI.LS made a fast finish. MAYOR HOUSE was prominent to the last eighth, where he gave way. COLONEL LIT and SIR JOHN VEKGNE quit. I.OUANNA came wide when turning for home, then finished fast and close up. TUBBY A. saved ground on all the lurn3 and tired. TURBULENT made up ground. PARVENU tired after forcing the pace to the last eighth. GOLDEN CUP quit after racing up into a prominent position. NIAGARA ran a bad race, always being far back.
