HAVANA ELECTRIC disposed of CEDRIC while rcunding the last turn and won easing up. CEDRIC. away none to fast, raced on even terms with nAVANA ELECTRIC to the stretch, then gave way and had to be hard ridden to save second place. TEMPTRESS closed a big gap in a fast finish. HARRY BURGOYNE also finished fast. ROSCOE GOOSE and LITTLE SMILE ran well. TWELVE BELLS was pinched out at the start, but closed a big gap and ran a good race. TEXNILEE tired after racing into a clear lead. MAYSVILLH showed speed, but failed to stay the route. QUEEN CATHERINE raced WHIFF into defeat and. taking a good lead, won as if clearly best. OVER SHOT came fast after turning for home and outfinished VIRGINIA B. The latter met with interference on tlic first turn and ran a good race. MALVERN ran poorly and does not amount to much. WHIFF set the early pace and tired badly. DOC HORN was much the best and after being forced wide by KEEGAN on the last turn raced to the front with a rush when an eighth out and won in a canter. BUSTER KEATON saved ground whea turning for home, then swerved over on EMINENT midway of the stretch, pinning him against the rail, for which he was disqualified. HUON PINE, after being last to the stretch, closed a big gap. EMINENT was knocked out cf contention by BUSTER KEATON when he was running fast. SUNNYLAND set a fast pace, hut commenced tiring after entering the stretch. ABADANE, from a pcor beginning, ran a" corking race. CHEROKEE LEE and COEUR DE LION appeared outclassed, but the latter ran well to the stretch. MUTT1KINS was away poorly. Scratched 77038Decp Thought, 104.
