j I ! J. S. WARD TWO-YEAR-OLDS Names of Young Stablemates of Wise. Counsellor and Worth-more, Wards Derby Hopes. LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 22. John S. Ward, Louisville turfman who is training one of the largest stables of thoroughbreds quartered at Churchill Downs, including the two prominent Derby candidates, Wise Counsellor and Wprthmore, has just received names for his two-year-olds from the jockey club registrar. Mr. Ward has seven two-year-olds in training, but through some mishap he lost the name for the chestnut filly by Tea Caddy Blue Grass Belle. The others are : TIipo. Fay, b. c, by Theo. Cook Fay Away. Theo. Itcd, b. c, by Theo. Cook Poppy Ked. On Time, cli. f. by High Time Crankie. Wax lady, b. f, by Jim Oaffncy Crownlct. May Fly, b. f, by Dodge Olori.-i France. Grare Troxlcr, blk. f. by Tea Caddy Teliera. On Time, the High Time filly, is held in high regard by Mr. Ward and has been entered in all the eastern two-year-old stakes. She is by the Ultimus horse, High Time, which last year sent the sensational Sarazen to the races, as well as Time Exposure and other fast youngsters.
