READY AT JEFFERSON PARK NEW ORLEANS, La., March 2. Everything at the Shrewsbury plant is in a state of readiness for the inauguration of the meeting and the track is in first rate condition. Already the movement of horses from the Fair Grounds to the new scene of action is well under way and Sunday witnessed the transfer of quite a considerable number of the thoroughbreds. These included the Green-tree Stable, T. E. Crist, J. Carter and the Derby Stable. The demand for stabling accommodations at Jefferson Parle exceeds the supply and, as at the fall meeting, many establishments unable to secure stalls will be forced to remain in their present quarters at the Fair Gounds.
