KIRKWOOD, away slowly, moved up fast on the outside when turning for home and, tiinisliing with a great rush, wore BOB BY ALLEN down in the final strides. BOBBY ALLEN disposed of YUKON midway in the stretch, raced into the lead, but gave way to the winner right at the end. SIARGARET WHITE closed a big gap fr m a s-Iow lwginning and, in reality, was going faster than the winner at the finish. YUKON shewed good speed, but tired badly when put to the whip. DERNIER SOU met with no mishaps and had no excuses. RUNLKIGH ran well to the last eighth, where he quit. NORFORD HONEY also quit. BESS L. was well up when she went down, NEG falling over her. WOODIH SIONTOOSIERY, after racing in closest but unavailing pursuit of the winner, tired palpably and just lasted to save second place. CANNY LADY finished stoutly and would have been second in another stride. SEA WAY made up ground frcm a slow beginning. FAYELLE and FUROR stopped badly. BILLS LUCK was as good as left at the post. THE ARAUCANIAN set a great pace and, under superior handling, was only beaten right at the end. THE FALCONER, under hard riding, did his best. CAPTAIN CLOVER showed a flash of speed.
