Won driving; second and third the same. TOOMBEOLA raced within a striking distance of the leaders until after entering the stretch, where he came fast and got up to win in the last strides. PRINCESS MYRTLE ran well and passed JACK FOUNTAIN midway of the stretch, but could not withstand the winners rush. F. G. CORLEY ran a good race from a slow beginning. JACK FOUNTAIN showed a high order of speed in the pace-making, but tired badly in the final eighth. MALZAYENA was going fast at the end. BETTY ALDEN was never dangerous. The latter raced prominently throughout, but had to be hard ridden to save third place. ATONEMENT ran well and finished close up. SUMMKIt SIGH ran a smashing raco from a slow beginning. TWELVK BELLS saved grcund on all the turns and would have been second in another stride. ROMULUS carried his weight gamely, and finished well. PKNWELL showed much early speed and raced into a clar lead, but tired and quit badly. ST. ANGELINA. BY RIGHT and INSURANCE wore away pooily. Scratched 77921Canny Lady. CHERRY TREE was a forward contender from the start and, but for tiring right at the end, would have been Fecond. BUSTER KEATON tet a good pace, but readily gave way to the first three when challenged. SKEEZIX did his best.
