Won driving; second and third the same. DORIUS, from a slow beginning, was outpaced to the last turn, from where he came fast and, under hard riding, wore CHIVA dewn to win in the last few strides. CHIVA began fast and set a gcod pace, but swerved out in the stretch while tiring, which cost him the race. SCARLET BUGLER made a threatening challenge midway of the stretch, then gave way. ZEALOT and ELIAS . tired. WYNNEWOOD was caught in a jam at the start, his rider losing a itirrup. but regained it after racing a sixteenth. The latter ran well and finished fast. SETHS MEMORY made up ground. DOCTOR COR RETT began slowly and rushed up into prominence, but tired under his heavy burden. SPEED BALL ran a promising race.
