ARLINGTON STABLE PLANS New York Owners State Will Be Shipped From Tijuana to Maryland for Campaign. When Kdward Arlington paid a big price j for Dominique last year lie evidently made no mistu.V "Vliil . the old son of I.-ter Quince and Kerry Maid was only regarded as an exceptionally good sprinter. Kimball Patterson lias made him hang out a new track record of 1 A- for the mile and seventy yards diataMkM at Tijuana. It will be remembered that as a two-year-old 1 ominiqiic was winner of the Walden over the mile distance at Pimlico, but almost every other effort to have him go further j than sprinting distances was unsuccessful. I Now Patterson lias brought the old f liow to the mile and M -venty yards notch and the character of his Tijuana victory promises well for his campaign this year. In the Speed Handicap at Tijuana Pom- inique was particularly unfortunate when he was repeatedly kicked at the post and still he was only beaten by a small margin. In UkSi race I ciminiqiie took tip US pounds, and many who saw the running expressed the opinion that had it not been for the kicking at the post the Arlington sprinter would have been winner.
