NOTES FROM MAPLE HEIGHTS CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 27. Jockey K. Noe was set down for the remainder of the meeting for hitting jockey Sharpe with his whip shortly after the start of the seventh race. Sharpe retaliated by sharply cutting across Scissors and forcing Xoe to pull up at the stretch turn, but Sharpe escaped punishment. J. B. McGinn claimed Scissors out of the seventh iace for ,800. B. Creech secured British Liner on his claim of ,200 after the sixth. * m
