May 30. — Redstone easily lieat four others in the Belvidere Purse, the main attraction on the program of the fourth day at Oonnaught. listen Dearie finished second to the son of Deesion. Delusive was ahead of Jim Kenney and Setting Sun at the end of the mile and seventy yards. Terry Wilson donned the silks of the Seagram Stable to ride the winner. It was the second time in the course of the afternoon that he had turned that trick, previously having guided Beau of the West in front of all opposition. He rode both horses in the same manner, taking them to the front and rating them there to win easily. Redstone was five lengths in front of his opponents at one time. Although he could not win that far. Wilson saved enough to finish two lengths in front of listen Dearie. The . 1... Whiting filly headed the others at all times and outlasted Delusive by a length. The latter finished fast next to the inside rail. Terry Wilson took the Seagram Stables Beau of the West to the front immediately after the start in the third, lead all the way with the son of Calgary and won easily by two lengths from a field of six Canadian-breds at a mile and seventy yards. Pelf chased him closest all the way. King Wave finished third, moving up one position around the turn. Johnny Burtchells Wrackhorn won the fourth going away. At the end of a mile and a sixteenth the gelding was two lengths in front of Jacques, which set the pace nearly into the stretch. Waywassamo finished third in a field of five, Lee rode the winner. Flint won his second straight at the meeting in his seiond appearance of the year, easily beating Captain Clover and eight others over the three-quarters course in the second. Oraleggo captured the third prize. Flint passed the pacemaker after a quarter and drew away from him. Oraleggo saved ground and finished fast. 101m, in the colors of F. Mannix. beat seven maiden two-year-olds over the five-eighths distance In the lirst contest. With Uomunelli at the reins, the son of Rosicrutians followed Cheri closely to the top of the turn and then drew away, winning easily by three lengths. Cheri and Let Me Forget divided the small portions of the purse. Round Robin, although only a sprinter on past performance, ran a mile and a sixteenth easily and won the sixth. At the end he was two lengths in front of Guelph. which heat Vitamin ;i length and a half for second place. lObb Tide took the led in the final and won all the way, finishing two lengths in front of Frosty Boy. which came from the rear in the last half mile. Trooper finished third. Joe Judy, who piloted Night Raider to victory yesterday, was riding in public for the lirst time. He is a Chicago boy under contract to G. E. Phillips. The speed and frequency of Jim Bodens trips between here and Thorncliffe have given rise to the rumor that he travels by airplane. He returned here today to see the races of King Wave and Guelph. H. Howard and J. Boden left Friday night for Thorncliffe. one to ride Opperrrmn and the other to saddle the horse for the Mackenzie Memrrial Saturday. They will return here Monday. Judge Nelson received a wire from John T. Ireland informing" him that no ruling had been made against jockey F. Sharps at Maple Heights as alleged Thursday. Sharpe was reported to have been in a brawl with a valet.
