Weant scored a double here today at Ak-Sar-Ben when he saddled War Winner and Yalta and watched them vanquish their opponents in easy fashion to account for first money in the third and fourth races. What might have been termed the feature race of the day was the fourth race, a dash of five and a half furlongs which attracted the best field to show under colors during the afternoon. Yalta was installed a topis heavy favorite and won as her price would seem to indicate. Two lengths was the distance of her successful margin with Nan Mc-s- Kinney and Helen Cook following in her wake. The appearance of Old Sol was the magn t that brought out a large crowd of fans and the attendance today for a Monday was indeed gratifying to the association.
