Diophon is 6 to 1 while Tom Pinch is at 7 to 1. St, Germans is at 10 to 1 ; Bejamin Irishs Dawson City at 100 to 9 ; Bright Night at 100 to 9 ; Sansovino at 100 to 8 ; Parmenio, Hurstwood and Polyphontes at 25 to 1. The weather is wet and stormy and pleas- ant conditions can hardly be expected for the big event from present indications. In spite I of this a record crowd is expected, as there | are a great many foreign visitors here for the British Empire exhibition at Wembley who will take advantage of the opportunity to see Englands biggest race.
