Madden has sold six two-year-olds to W. J. Speirs, acting for William Ziegler, Jr., of this city. One filly by Sir Martin is incluued in the banu, but the remainder are colts. Two are by St. Rock, one by Sir Martin, one by Cnder Fire and one by Huon. The youngsters sold are as follows: iamble, eh. f, 2, by Sir Martin Guesswork. Needle iun, ch. c, 2, by Under Fire — Stitch-in- Time. Borderland, blk. e, 2, by St. Rock— Continent. St:ir Saint, ch. c, 2. by St. Rock — Star Class. Iot Shot, eli. c, 2, by Huon — Select Shot. Chestnut colt, 2, by Sir Martin — Astrology. Mr. Madden has also sold two two-year- olds and the five-year-old Nantucket to U. S. Wisliard, who will campaign them in Canada. These are: Harb Wire, b. s, 2, by Sir Martin — Tangle. Itethpage, b. g, 2, by urmondale — Maud I?. L. Nantucket, ck. g, 5, by Kriar Rock — Sea Shell.
