BEST FINISH OF MEETING Be Good Winner Over Right on Time in Toledos Closing Day Attraction. TOLEDO, Ohio, Sept. 1. Be Good, from the stable of T. V. Montjoy, accounted for the Times Purse, feature of the holiday program at Northampton Park today. Tho daughter of Cunard stood a vigorous drive gamely and had enough left at the finish to retain her advantage by a short neck. Right on Time held on courageously and outlasted Bucado by a head for second place. Gordon Shaw, the only other starter, was beaten off. The finish of this race was one of the best of the meeting with the riders on all three plying their whips with vigor all through the stretch. Thats the Time and Huey, coupled as the Eastman-Maloney entry finished first and second respectively in the two-year-old race which served as the secondary feature. Receiver, held in high regard by the public, failed to finish in the money. A large holiday crowd was present to witness the concluding days sport and although rain threatened all day it failed to materialize and the track remained in fast condition throughout Hercules scored his third success of tho meeting when he annexed the longest race of the day from Eye Bright after a hard stretch struggle. C. E. Davison scored a double on the day, Virgo winning for him in the opening race while John Joseph carried his colors to victory in the third. Nancolas Brothers shipped their string to Omaha last night. Jockey G. Abel accompanied the stable. Starter Lester Dean leaves tonight for Aurora, 111., while Judge Leonard departs for Wheeling, W. Va,, where he will officiate in tlie stand.
