ATTENDANCE RECORD BROKEN BELMONT PARK, N. Y., Sept 1. Col. Matt Winn, who has had a long experience with crowds at the famous old Kentucky Derby, had to admit that Churchill Downs was whipped as he looked over tho monster throng. His comment was that it was the greatest gathering ever seen on a race course.
