DOXXELLY began slowly, but worked his way up steadily on the outside and. coming fast from the stretch turn, finished with a rush and was going away at the end. COSTIGAX began well and raced forwardly all the way and passed MASTER HANI and GYPSY KING, but. tired in the final sixteenth. OAERTAKE raced well from the start and finished gamely. GYPSY KING showed early speed and raced into the lead, but tired when called on. FRIDAY 13TH closed a big gap. HIGH PRINCE had no mishaps. Won easily; second and third driving. SKYSCRAPER raced into the lead soon after the start and, making the pace fast, shook off SILK TASSEL in the stretch and was easing up at the end. RIGEL was saved under restraint until at the eighth post from where he closed" up with a rush. SILK TASSEL showed high early speed and followed the winner resolutely, hut tired near the end. COMIC SONG closed a big gap on the outside. BROOMSTER had no mishaps. BANTER saved ground on all the turns, but tired badly. REPULSE began slowly and was far back in the early running, but worked his way up on the outside and, coming fast and gamely through the stretch, outfinished NINA in the last strides. NINA was under restraint early, but moved up with a rush in the stretch and finished resolutely. POCANTICO was a forward contender all the -way, hut tired in the final drive. BUTTIN IX ran a good race all the way. PEANUTS ran well. REMINDER closed a big gap. EXTREME tired. STAMPDALE set a fast pace to the stretch and quit. Won driving; second and third the same. AVISE COUNSELLOR, well ridden, was saved close up to the stretch, then gained steadily when called on, finished with a rush into the lead and was drawing clear at the end. EPINARD began well and was forced back but, saving ground where possible, was forced to come wide when entering the stretch and moved up with a rush and was tiring at the finish. LADKIN began slowly, but cams through the stretch with a rush on the outside and finished fast. SNOB II. ran a good race all the way. ZEV showed early speed and tired after racing well to the last eighth. AAILDERNESS closed a big gap. BAFFLING set a great pace to the last eighth and quit. MISS STAR ran a fast half. SAKAZEN followed MAD FLAY under slight restraint to the stretch turn, then came on the outside of MAD FLAY and, after being shaken up, took the lead and drew away, to win easing i:p. CHERRY PIE was outpaced in the early running, but slipped through next to the inner rail on the stretch turn and, taking to the outside in the stretch, finished fast. MAD PLAY set a great pace to the stretch and tired badly.
