The latter sulked in the early running, but moved up with a rush in the last eighth and was going fastest at the end. REMNANT set a good pace, but began tiring after reaching the last eighth. BLACK CRACKLE ran a good race. TOP O TH MORNING tired. POPPYE was far back all the way. THEO raced fairly well. BILLY STAR was in closest pursuit for the entire race and finished well. PRINCE Til Til was kept under restraint for most of the way and weakly ridden generally. The latter raced into the lead but tired slightly after he seemingly had the race won. LOUISE WAGNER set a good pace, but began tiring in the stretch. WHALEBONE finished fast. VERBENA tired. The latter came, with a rush in the stretch, but tired under his weak rider. GLENTILT ran well and saved much ground on the stretch turn. BENCH MANAGER raced well to the stretch and tired. WONG BOK was always outpaced. Overweight Glcntilt, 3 pounds.
