BLUE GOOSE passed BENITA in the stretch and was going fast at the. end. BENITA raced prominently to the stretch head, but tired and dropped back in the last eighth. KNOT GRASS set a fast pace from the start, but forced the winner out, for which he was disqualified. GORDON SHAW closed up much ground afler rounding the far turn and finished fast and close up. GRASS TREE finished with a rush through the stretch. JOHN HOSIIOR quit badly. EGE set a fast pace and swerved in the stretch, forcing the winner out with her, but finished well. HARMONIOUS was a forward contender all of the last half and finished fast on the inside. JOLLY saved ground and finished gamely next to the inner rail. CENTIMETER was a speedy last but tired in the last eighth. KIM AX failed to begin with the others.
