EPINARD ON TO LATONIA French Champion and Ladkin En-route From Belmont Park to Kentucky Track." - -u NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 1. Pierre Wer-theimiers great French champion Epinard was shipped from Belmont Park to Latonia this morning. In the same care went his conqueror of last Saturday, " Major August Belmonts Ladkin. Both horses are being sent to Kentucky to race in the International Special No. 3, which will be run at Latonia Saturday, October 11. Jockey Clarence Kum-mer, who will ride Ladkin, left this evening for tfiie Kentucky track. LATONIA, Ky., Oct 1. Word was received during the afternoon from August Belmont that Epinard and Ladkin were on their way here and should arrive early tomorrow morning. Considerable interest will attach to their coming, particularly to the French challenger. Every preparation has been perfected that will insure the comfort of the crack horses. Both will be given their final training preparations for the mile and a quarter International Special in public. It is expected that the first work that Epinard will indulge in will be next Saturday.
