Total of 71,165 Distributed J During 13 Days of Racing. , Xadkins Defeat of Eplnard in International Special Ko. 2 the Outstanding Feature List of Winners. t , The Queens County Jockey Clubs autumn meeting was held from September 16 to Sep-tember 30 and during the thirteen days of a racing there were seventy-eight races de- j cided and a total of 76,165, a daily average of 13,551, was distributed in stakes and purses. j The outstanding feature of this meeting r was the running of International Special No. 2, in which Major August Belmonts Ladkin defeated the French champion, Epinard, in one of the greatest races ever run in this country. Of the owners participating at the Aque- duct meeting Major Belmont was the largest winner, Ladkin and his stablemates account- . ing fcr 9,290.
