SLOW AND EASY set a good pace, but tired after racing MENTHOL into defeat in the stretch. MENTHOL showed much speed, but tired. ALL GONE ran well to the stretch. RED HAWK finished well. VICAIRE followed BOATMAN closely under- good riding and, passing him in the last half mile, held him safe iu the drive on the flat. BOATMAN jumped cleanly, but tired slightly near the end. YANKEE PRINCESS f creed the pace while racing on a slightly wider course and was wearing the leader down at the end. GUELPH was outrun eaily, but passed the leaders in the stretch and finished fastest of all. GOLD BUG saved ground throughout after making a slow beginning and finished well. The latter began slowly, but gained steadily and, closing a big gap, finished fast and wearing the Winner down. WILL LAND showed high speed and raced TIME EXPOSURE into defeat, but tired. OSPREY finished well after closing a big gap. SWINGALONG began slowly, but .was running fast at the end. TIME EXPOSURE set a fast pace to the last eighth and quit badly. SILK TASSEL and.
