I J t a j j r . , ; ; : LATEST FRENCH TURF NEWS Jean Tortorello to Take Charge of Aga Khan Horses Wm. Duke Returning to United States. SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. -PARIS, Prance, Oct. 7. Jean Tortorello, trainer for Senor Unzue, of the Argentine, has leased the Aga Khans property at , Maisons Laffitte and will take over the training of the Indian Potentates horses ! as well as those of his present employer, i Domingo Tortorello, the Argentine jockey, will ride for both stables. Guy Garner, who has been riding for Aga Khan under trainer Wm. Duke, was released as soon as the new arrangement was completed. He immediately signed to ride for Jean Prat and Frank Carter. Duke, who resigned his post as trainer for Aga Khan recently, will sail for the United States in November to take up his new duties as trainer for Gifford A. Cochran. Senor Unzue is better known as a breeder than as an owner. It Avas he who purchased Tracery and placed him at the head of his stud in the Argentine. He later sold the stallion to an English syndicate and he was shipped back . to. England early this year. Tracery died a short while ago at Cobham Stud.
