LAUREL PARK NOTES LAUREL, Md., Oct. 13. James Arthur arrived from Long Branch. H. R Freck got in from Richmond with Sea Man and Salt Peter. C. Primrose returned after a visit to New York in the interest of Tijuana Jockey Club. E. Sutpin, an apprentice under contract to the Glen Riddle Farm, had his first mount in tne fourth race. E. Barnes was back in action here today. He went to New York Saturday to ride Aga Khan. J. Stevens, an apprentice under contract to H. G. Bedwell, "came from Long Branch and began riding here today. He is a brother to F. Stevens. W. H. Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Democratic leader, and ex-Congressman C. B. Smith, also of Buffalo, arrived today for a couple of weeks of racing. Edward Brennan came to the course today to attend to the allotment of the stables at Pimlico, and to other details of the Maryland Jockey Club meeting. J.. Fitzsimmons, Jr., came from New York with the horses Blue Moon, Bar Gold, Minerva, Beatrice, Mary Ann, Marconi and Flivver. His father will be here tonight, but will leave in a day or two for Kentucky to saddle Priscilla Ruley, Aga Khan and Flames for tho Belair Stud in the Latonia Championship Stakes next Saturday.
