EASY FOR DOCTOR GLENN Takes Measure of Dust Flower and Centimeter at Beulah Park. John Morrill Adds Another Victory to Long List of Successes Jockey Escapes Serious Injury. . COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct 28. Excellent racing conditions again prevailed at Beulah Park and a goodly sized crowd was in attendance. Closing up with good courage while rounding the last bend, W. M. Cains Doctor Glenn drew away to an easy victory over Dust Flower and Centimeter during the stroicr- of the handicap, the fifth and main race of the day. Dust Flower, the early leader, just lasted to save second place from her stable-mate, Centimeter. Lafe M. was prominent in the early stages only and the others were never serious factors. Bemorecareful proved best of the distance performers in the sixth race and led by a comfortable margin practically throughout Dudle Bug and Leading Light came from behind in their respective races to eventually win handily. My Biddy and Mark Denunzio both showed the way at all stages of their races. After rae.ng under stout rertraint for three-quarters, John Morril! disprsed of a small but good band of racers in the stretch of the concluding race, to add another victory to bis imposing record for the year. He has already won fifteen races during the campaign of 1924. Jockeys J. Connors snd J. Stevens both escaped injury when they were unseated shortly after the start in the sixth race. Jockeys Costello and Holecko each suffered minor injuries to his left foot as a result of having come in contact with the inner fence. Lee Erb, acting for the Green Briar Stable claimed Super King for ,400 out of the fourth race. Jockey C. .Tackson was set down by starter Cassidy for the remainder of the meeting fur disobedience while at the post For rough riding jockey F. Horn will spend the next five days on the ground, a suspension by the stewards.
