STUD MATES FOR EPINARD LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 2S. When Epin-ard is loaded on the Berengaria next week for his native France, he will be accompanied by two fine thoroughbred mares that were bred in France by Major August Belmont and imported to his Nursery Stud near Lexington. They are both daughters of Ethel-bert and both are from daughters of Rock Sand. They are going over to be mated next spring with the distinguished son of Badajoa and Epine Blanche at M. Pierre Werth-eimers establishment at Bordeaux. One is Hour Hand, eleven years old, from Hour Glass II., dam of Hourless. The other is Quelle Chance, seven years old, from Quelle Est Belle II. Hour Hand is in foal to Fair Play and Quelle Chance is in foal to Hour-less. They are to be shipped from hera next Sunday in charge of Al Kane to New York. The Berengaria is to sail on Thursday.
