FOR SATURDAYS BIG RACE Candidates in Useful Gallops for Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes to Be Run at Downs. LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct 29. A number of Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes candidates were given useful trials Wednesday morning in preparation for Saturdays rich stake. The majority were sent a mile, the full distance of the stake. Kentucky Cardinal was seen to advantage when he ran the mile in 1:42. Pas Seul and Swops worked a mile together. They ran well together for the first three-quarters when Pas Seul drew out Annil.ilator made a good impression and pulled up sound. From present indications a classy field will contest in the final valuable stake of the year to be decided in Kentucky. Word was received at the track Wednesday that Andy G. Blakely had left Laurel with the good two-year-old, Master Charlie, and that they are due to reach Churchill Downs Thursday morning. Master Charlie is coming to fill his engagement in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes.
