BOWIE PROGRAM BOOK OUT LAUREL, Md., Oct 29. Joe McLennan distributed condition books for the Bowie meeting from November 17 to 29 inclusive. This popular secretary seems to have met with his usual success in drafting a set of conditions that will appeal to the horsemen through the finding of employment for a variety of horses. The Bowie stakes close November 8, a week from Saturday. There are four on the program, three of ?10,000 added and one of ?7,500. One of the richer ones is the renamed Gadsden D. Bryan Memorial Handicap.
