MASTER CHARLIE RETIRED BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 8. Wm. Daniels Master Charlie, probably the best juvenile of 1924, has been retired for the year. After the running of the Pimlico Serial Weight-for-Age Race No. 2, he pulled up lame and Andy Blakely said he would put him away until next year. He will be wintered at New Orleans with the others in the stable. All year Master Charlie has been bothered from time to time with a splint and it is this affliction that causes him to bear out on the turns.
