PIMLICO TRACK NOTES BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 11. H. Massey bought Quiescent from A. II. Morris. II. Dougherty will ship fifteen horses to Havana Sunday. Bright Lights was destroyed as a result of breaking down in the chase. W. A. Rosen bought Gold Crump from B. Harding and ran him in the second race. Dr. W. C. Trovar is planning upon a Miami campaign after one at Jefferson Park. James F. OHara was a visitor at Pimlico today. He believes the coming Bowie meeting will be the best on record. W. Travers bought Rigel from J. A. Co-burn. "The latter recently claimed him from J. P. Richardson. J. E. Widener was so well pleased with Parkes riding of Altawocd in the Bowie that he engaged him to ride the horse in the Pimlico Cup of Saturday. Lester "Tex" Dean will do the starting at Havana pending the arrival from Bowie of James Milton. Havana opens and the Maryland track closes on the same day, November 29. John S. Ward has entered Wise Counsellor, conqueror of Epinard on two occasions, in the stake of the Bowie meeting to which he is eligible. James P. Ross has had many enquiries about his brood mare Bellemere, that is to be sold in Lexington at auction November 18. This mare is a daughter of Dick Finnell and Miss Peggy and is in foal to Sun Briar, being the only outside mare- that enjoyed a service to Mr. Kilmers stock horse.
